What the form collects
Your name, email address, story title, outline and the time of your consent. Please do not submit children’s names, medical records, court papers or sensitive information about other people in your initial pitch.
Why we collect it
LIGHT WORK uses these details to assess your proposal and contact you about it, with your consent. Submitting a pitch does not transfer ownership of your story or create a production agreement. We do not use pitch details for marketing.
How it is handled
Submissions are stored in the website’s hosted database and are not displayed publicly. Website hosting providers process information needed to operate the service. The site does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
Your choices
You can request access, correction or deletion, or withdraw consent, by using the pitch form with “Privacy request” as the subject and the email address used for your original submission. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
